"Nothing more comforting and delicious than a plate of potatoes au gratin. Seconds please!"

Saute garlic and onion in a pan on medium heat. 

Combine milk, salt, pepper in pan with onions and garlic. 

Thinly slice potatoes and place on paper towel to pat dry.

Layer potatoes and cheeses in a dish. Pour half the cream sauce over top.

Repeat with a second layer of the remaining ingredients. 

Place dish in oven and bake till potatoes are tender.
