Using a hand mixer combine softened butter, sugar and cinnamon.

Place cinnamon roll filling in the freezer to chill.

In a bowl whip butter with hand mixer till light and airy.

Add sugar to the butter and cream together with the hand mixer.

Add egg and vanilla to the bowl of creamed sugar.

Add flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, clove and cream of tartar to bowl.

Combine the wet and dry ingredients using a hand mixer.

Break up pieces of the cinnamon roll filling and mix in gently to the cookie dough.

Using a cookie scoop measure out your cookies and place on a lined baking sheet.

Add pinch of cinnamon roll filling to the center of each cookie and pinch it closed.

Add chunks of cinnamon roll filling to the top of each cookie.

Bake cookies at 350 F for 10 to 12 minutes.

Allow cookies to cool for 5 minutes and transfer to a wire rack before enjoying!
