Pop the popcorn removing an un-popped kernels.

In a pot add sugar, corn syrup, butter and optional food coloring (optional).

Heat the syrup mixture over medium heat till boiling.

Pour syrup over popcorn in large bowl and mix to coat all popcorn.

While still warm form popcorn balls and gently press on any desired toppings.

For additional cuteness add a mini candy cane to the center for an ornament hook.

When shaped wrap each popcorn ball individually in plastic wrap till ready to enjoy!
