SALTED CINNAMON CARAMELS

Palm Tree

-- Margaret C.

"I've never had a caramel so yummy! Soft and chewy with just the right amount of cinnamon. Yumm."

Add all the caramel ingredients (except vanilla and salt) to a large pot.

Stir ingredients together over medium heat.

When butter is melted add a candy thermometer to the pot and keep stirring.

Bring mixture to a boil and let heat to 240 °F or a soft ball.

Remove pot from the heat, add the vanilla and stir together.

Transfer mixture to a well greased pan and let cool for roughly 20 minutes.

Remove caramel from pan and sprinkle with sea salt. Cut caramel into bite size pieces.

Wrap each individual candy in wax paper and twist off the ends to seal.
