Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 pound hamburger meat
  • 30 ounces tomato sauce
  • 6 ounces tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese shredded
  • ½ cup water

Instructions
 

  • In large pot sauté onion and butter till onion becomes translucent.

  • Add uncooked hamburger to onions and brown till fully cooked.
    1 pound hamburger meat
  • Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, oregano, basil, garlic, salt, pepper and parmesan to meat mixture and stir till combined.
    30 ounces tomato sauce, 6 ounces tomato paste, 1 teaspoon oregano, 1 tablespoon dried basil, 2 teaspoons garlic powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon pepper, 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • Cover pot and allow to simmer over low to medium heat for 20 minutes.
  • Once done simmering add water and stir to combine.
    ½ cup water
  • Serve sauce over pasta or in baked dish and enjoy!
